Actually the SH3 release is just as fast as the Casio version. I did frame counts a couple months ago and for the most part the SH3 was on par with the current 150mhz MIPS. Go figure.

No slower than it is on the E125 and EM500. The problem is the mapping of coins and game start to button three. I took a Galaga config file from the Casio and remapped coins to button four (I think, it has been awhile since I did that). Using the new config Galaga worked fine. All I know is Galaga, and few other games have this problem but can be worked out with different configs which leads to my next response request..

I would think if the Mame config menu was added to a future release the need for this button remapping option would be moot. The HP Game Pad option already takes care of some of this but again with the some games not working because I guess the game's default mappings differ from what is defined in MameCE3 for the Jornada the flexibility just isn't there all of the time. Of course I haven't tried the newest release so maybe you already addressed the Mame config menu.
