Has anyone successfully managed to get any games to run on the Jordana Pocket PC?
I can manage to launch a game from teh game selection screen but I am left with a black screen.
If I press the Action button twice I can get back to the selection screen?

I have about 9M free program memory.

Cheers

Das

You are using MameCE3 correct? (none of the others will work on the Jornando).
Be sure to keep a meg or 2 free for storage just to be safe.
have you enabled the game key mapper in the control panel? Not sure where But I know it needs to be enabled.
What games are you trying to play? Try frogger, tempest, or puckman, these are known to run well. If these run ok, it might be the game has difficulties. Also make sure you have a good romset.

I have an HP Jornada 548 as well. I downloaded MameCE3 on Friday, yet was unable to play any games until I read this post. I simply turned on the game button mapping and voila!!! I was in business. I have a couple of problems with a couple of games, but I think it's me!!! Great app though! Thanks for the help!!!

Hi Teckmaster,

I just couldn't understand what I was doing wrong... until I realized I was set up to use 8 bit colour instead of 16 bit colour.
I changed the settings and everything runs great - and speed does not seem to be a problem. All the games seem to run as fast as I remember them :)

Cheers
