I have an Aero 1530 upgraded to Win CE 3.0. I have MameCE3 ver 9.0 and my ROMs properly installed on a storage card. Every game I attempt to start (Frogger and Galaga) causes a fatal application error. The message states "Application MameCE3.exe has performed an illegal operation and will be shut down." I would really appreciate your assistance. Thanks.

Make sure you are not low on memory. I have the same problem with MAMEBoy if my program memory gets below a certain point (around 11megs or so is the cutoff I think).

Thanks for the tip. Unfortunately I have adjusted the program memory as high as 13mb, but it still gives me same Fatal Application error. Are there any other settings that affect Mame? Thanks

I don't think MameCE3 runs on the Aero. What processor is in it?

The Aero has a 70 MHz MIPS-based RISC CPU. MameCE3 will display the title page, but gives a fatal error message after a ROM is chosen and PLAY is pressed.
