> i just read an article about this thingy in compuiter gaming world now i havent > purchased a iPAQ,or Cassiopeia yet but i plan to so which one is better and how > does it work in laymans terms? > I recently picked up a Casio E-125. This installation is as easy as any. All the games I tried were a little sluggish on this machine, Ms. Pacman, Mario Bros. I haven't tried them on MameBoy, but I understand they should be a little faster with that since it is specifically coded for the Casio PPC's.
I am hoping that by overclocking my device that these games will be significantly better.
Casio is better in many ways that the Ipaq. The former has a better screen (more colors and stuff) and controller layout. The latter has many issues when it comes to gaming since it only supports one button press at a time. But it is faster. By overclocking the e-125, though, you can bring it up to the same speed as the Ipaq 3630. So if you feel like risking it you get the best of both worlds in the E-125. This is all based off of my limited research.
If you are interested in overclocking you e-125 do a search for overclocking e-125 in google. There is one article that discuss how to overclock with a pencil. Neat geek stuff.
