First I have to thank you for your quick reply - but - this just doesn't work... Maybe there's a really, really stupid mistake on my side, but I just can't figure, what it could be...
I have exactly the folder-structure you mentioned - and - as I said: mamece is running quite well (I just wanted mameboy because of its speed...).
I tested it with both: mameboy and mameboyx...
Do I have to remove some other Software first ?
(I have snes, nes, cb64, mameboy, mameboyx, mamece3,coleco-vision and doom on my storage-card - all but mameboy running well).
I think mameboy would ad some gaming-pleasure to some of the games - at least it starts much faster than mamece3

I think I will just load all roms (a few hundred...) I have into the folder and then do some experimenting...

By the way: Thanks to Fayle - My E-125 running at 200,6 MHz now !!!
