I' ve problems running mameboy on my e-125 (@ 180,6 MHZ - still). I've tried it all: copy folder directly onto device (into Programs - Folder) - nothing; into Programs-Folder on Flash-Card - nothing; rename Rom-Folder (Roms, Rom, etc.) - nothing.

Mameboy will start (much faster till then as mamece3), but does'nt recognize my roms (which will run on mamece3) as Zaxxon, Frogger, Lady Bug Asteroids, Galaxian etc.

What else can I do / do I have to do ??? Rename Roms ? Where can I get Roms, which will run on mameboy ?

Put your mameboy folder in the root of the storage card - like this:

\storage card\mameboy\mameboy.exe
\storage card\mameboy\roms\zaxxon.zip

etc...

It will work!

First I have to thank you for your quick reply - but - this just doesn't work... Maybe there's a really, really stupid mistake on my side, but I just can't figure, what it could be...
I have exactly the folder-structure you mentioned - and - as I said: mamece is running quite well (I just wanted mameboy because of its speed...).
I tested it with both: mameboy and mameboyx...
Do I have to remove some other Software first ?
(I have snes, nes, cb64, mameboy, mameboyx, mamece3,coleco-vision and doom on my storage-card - all but mameboy running well).
I think mameboy would ad some gaming-pleasure to some of the games - at least it starts much faster than mamece3

I think I will just load all roms (a few hundred...) I have into the folder and then do some experimenting...

By the way: Thanks to Fayle - My E-125 running at 200,6 MHz now !!!

If you have german or french device it could be a problem. Folder structure simply HAS to be named like

\storage card\mameboy\mameboy.exe

etc

or

\program files\mameboy\mameboy.exe

if you have german device, program files folder will have a different name. In that case you will have to create new folder in the root of your device (not storage card!) and name it 'program files'
