First Off I think you are bad ass for doing all of this techmaster, but I can't get it to work. I loved mame, and just got an Ipaq 3630. I was so excited the Roms were already in it... no need to download for days, but not a single one launches. I checked your readme file and upped my free program memory to over 16MB. All it does is go to the black screen with the Start menu and waits for a few then kicks back tot he Main MAMECE screen with it relisting the roms. Did I screw something up? I did upgrade my Ipaq software version to 1.77 from 1.69 if that makes a difference. I'm eager to see how it works and see if I can help with any tweaking.

I thought I was up the creek on this one but it looks like I am not the only one. I have a 3635 IPAQ with 32 Meg plus a 48 Meg expansion card. Mine is doing the same thing also.

Thank you.
I think you misunderstand the difference between the 2 versions of MameCE3. MegaMameCE3 does not include any ROMS.

Mame supports over 2000 Games. MameCE3 only has a few hundred of those 2000+ games enabled so that they can be played. MegaMameCE3 has over 1000 of those 2000+ games enabled. Keep in mind that a game that is enabled may still not be playable due to incompatability or inconsistencies on the PocketPC.
The bad news is you still need to hunt for those ROMS. the good news is that if you already have those ROMS for MAME or MAME32 version .36 final you can copy them to your PocketPC.

FYI, MameCE3 works on both my 3630 and my 3670 with any versions of the iPaq software.

Hope that helps.

Cheers,
-Techmaster
