SubjectMAMECE3 on Jornada new Reply to this message

I've been using MAME on my desktop for a while, and the idea of running it on my Jornada is really appealing.(Thanks for all the work porting it, BTW!)

However, I can't seem to get the buttons to work. The HP Gamekeys come on automatically, and seem to prevent button 3 from adding credits. Sound familiar to anyone?

Or am I just doing something really stupid!

David.

Can you tell me how you got the app to work? I tried downloading both the regular and Mega versions to my Journada 548, and in each one I can't play any games. If I enable the "Show all games" option I see an entire list, but if I select one and press play, I see a black screen.
Thanks for any help.

You need to also download Game ROMS for the games you want to play.
The 'show all' option is used to see which games are enabled and can be played IF you download the ROMS and put them in the roms folder.

You need to go into control panel and reconfigure the Game Keys using some utility that the Jornado has. I can't tell you how since I don't actually own a Jornado. But I know that is what others have done.

Thanks, Techmaster.

Time to go and read the manual on the game-keys option I think! Any Jornada owners out there already solved this problem?

David.
