MegaMameCE3 does not include any Game ROMS. It includes more enabled games than the basic MameCE3.
MAME for the desktop has over 2000 games enabled. MameCE3 has over a hundred of those 2000+ games enabled and MegaMameCE3 has over 1000 of those 2000+ games enabled.
Having 10 times the amount of games enabled makes the program bigger. FYI MAME32 is also about 8MB in size.
The way to get around the test screen is to use the Mame UI (record button) and scroll down to reset game. Hit the fire button and the game will reset (as if the power button was pressed on the arcade machine). Hit the Record buton again and you should now be able to play the game.
The 'show all games' options is there so that you can see what games are enabled, so you can go find the roms for it :)
Clones are clones of the the original game that ran on different hardware or from different countries. Some people like to see all the games others like to see only the originals.
