I believe that you are correct. The spanish name is causing you the problem. I haven't been able to figure out a solution for this at this time, other than copying the games you want to play from the storage card into main memory.
I have added this issue to my TO-DO list. I will address it in time. If anyone has the coding solution for this feel free to post or email me on it.
