after installing MameCE3v9.0 on my Cassiopeia E105, I try to start it and all I get is an error message
" Can't find 'MameCE3' (or one of its components). Make sure the path and filename are correct and that all the required libraries are available." I have tried to install the manual version and the automatic version, but nothing works. Please help me.

That build does not work on a Casio E-105.
It is for PocketPCs only (i.e. Casio E-115, E-125 etc).

There is only a MAMECE3 build for E-10X available on the
MAMECE3 page, though. Look down at the bottom where is
says:
"Previous Casio E10x Builds:
Latest release is 0.36b3 dated 09-07-2000."

There's also another option: MAMECE-10X.
You will likely find that it runs games faster
than MAMECE3 on your E-105, however it supports
fewer games than the "Extra Large Build" of
MAMECE3.

I'm not sure :(
I haven't tried it in a while, but it doesn't seem to be responding. Also, I can't access the files.

Either Geocities is having technical difficulties, or they decided to delete my site and not bother telling me about it.

I didn't exactly 'abandon' it. I'd say is was in a period of dormancy :) I've been working on other stuff a bit, like Space Invaders for Dramcast :)

If/when the next generation of Casio's come out, I may upgrade and regain enthusiaim for MAMECE.

Darren

If the web site is down, how do I get MAMECE-10X.. I have tried the Casio E10x Builds and don't seem to be able to get them to start either. I don't know what I am doing wrong.

Actually it does support the E105. The autointaller has all 4 versions (3pocket PC and 1 Pspc for Casio E10x).

The problem actually relates to the shortcut creation. I have to fix this before the next release.

To resolve the probelm try using a third party file browser or move the executable to the program folder, replacing the shortcut.

However, Darren is right about his version being faster at this time. :)

I don't know if it was mirrored anywhere else.
I don't have a backup of the website :/

It's likely that misinstallation, bad roms or wrong rom location was your problem.

Maybe they TOSed you becuase of those 2 hacked rom files. Would be just like them to do such a lame thing.

Have you tried the new Version 9.1?
Does it have the same problem? Be sure to remove the previous version first.
