Can anyone help? I have installed MameCE3.exe as per the notes (including putting gx.dll into the windows directory) - when I try to execute it, I get a windows error message which says:
"Error Starting Program - The C:\PROGRAM FILES\MAMECE\MAMECE3.EXE file is improperly linked with alignment less than 0x1000. Fix the error, and then link it again." I close this box with the OK button, and another box is left under it stating " C:\PROGRAM FILES\MAMECE\MAMECE3.EXE Windows cannot run this program because it is in an invalid format"
I am running Windows 98 - linked to a Jornada 548. I get the same error regardless of whether I try it on my Toshiba Laptop, or my desktop - (both win98).
I also get the same problem trying to run MEGAMameCE3.exe.
