I have heard alot of talk about MameCE working on Jornadas with SH3 processors, and on other hand helds with ARM processos, but will it work on my Jornada 820 with an ARM processor? I want to put the 190mhz to good use. If someone could email a resoponse to xizor106@yahoo.com it would be great. Thanks.

I would be very interested.
If gapi is not used, it could be possible to compile it.
Thank you

And therein lies the problem. If you don't use gapi (or game_x) then you have to do all the bitmap building and screen drawing manually. Which will slow the EMu down even more than it is at the moment. Plus the time required to rewrite all that drawing code is not minimal.
Add to that the fact that without one of these devices to use as a test machine, it is near impossible to see how your progress is advancing.
That is why it is usually neccessary for a person who has one of these devices, to attempt the re-port.

I've been trying to compile MameCE using the new GAPI library for Jornada 720. For some reason though, the compiler is still looking for gamex stuff. Am I missing a define somewhere?

Thanks,
