When I run the installer I get an error that says, "Application Manager cannot install this application on your mobile device due to an invalide setup file. Reinstall and try again.

I have downloaded the installation file 3 times and I get the same error every time. Does anyone know what the problem is? Thanks for the help!

I'm taking a guess that you have Windows 2000 installed on your desktop. The autoinstallers fail on that platform for some reason.

Here is the solution.
Finish the installation manually as follows:
1. After it fails, look for the file mamece3.MIPS_PSPC3.CAB (replace ARM or SH3 with yoor device).
2. copy it to the \temp folder on your device using activesync.
3. Use file explorer on the device to browse to the temp folder.
4. click on the cab file in the temp folder and it will complete the installation from that point on.
