Do you get the main display dscreen for MAMECE3 with the games listings?
When does it turn black?
Have you tried donkey kong, pacman, or frogger? These are the most basic games that are known to work.

As Marconelly mentions it might have something to do with the 256 color screen. Answer my questions from above and I will see what I can do to make it work properly if it is in the screen color depth.
