The Select button is preprogrammed to the Record button on the iPaq. Funny thing is if I program any other button to the Record button, all the buttons become that programmed button (ie if I set record to fire1 all buttons become fire1), Some kind of cascading effect,very strange behaviour.
Give me a keyscan code for the @amigo button you want programmed to Select and I will see if I can tweak it somehow. Can't gaurentee a timeframe that I can work on this but I will add it to the list.

I may have to get one to see how good it is. Anyone noticed if they are getting sold on Ebay yet ;)
