Does anyone have roms for this ultra rare prototype game. I do know there is about 4-5 machines out there. This is a game I want to play before I die. The way it looks, I will never : (

First of all, this is NOT the proper board for this question. You do realize that? This is a MAME for Windows Compact Edition 3.0 (AKA MAMECE3) support and discussion board.

But I'll answer you briefly - YES, someone DOES have the ROMs: those few people who own the rare MM2 machines. I was involved with an effort to raise a large sum of money to buy one of these machines, but the owner pulled out of the deal. So far, no other possibility to obtain them has come about, nor do any companies seem interested in selling the game via some commercial method.

Thanks, I am a mameCe user, I have an iPAQ and I use it all the time. Just would like to see/play this game in my lifetime. I am a HUGE fan of marble madness and am shopping around for parts (at a fair price), to add to my arcade game collection.

There was a sequel to Marble Madness?!?! Drooolll, that was one of my favorite games back in the day. Now I too won't be able to sleep at night until I find the roms for it (and hope that I can actually play it with one of the mame emus).
