Although you have PacMania in the list of games, when you run it, it gives an error and quits the program. I was wondering if there is a way to fix that. Also, can you add in on an optional on screen button toolbar so you can help people who have to deal with the simultaneus button problem on iPaqs? Last...i realize that the pc version can't even do this...but is it possible in any way to add in save states?

Thanks a WHOLE lot!

P.S. Helpful hint for people with ipaqs...for some reason the action button in the middle of the directional pad can actually be pressed at the same time as any of the other buttons...for instance in galaxia, I am able to move while i shoot...just making sure you all knew that ;)

Pacmania doesn't bomb the program (thinking about other game...) it just gives a black screen and goes back to the list like hydra does(as i say in a later post PLEASE MAKE HYDRA WORK,as well as pacmania) thx

Hydra uses MC68000 / 14 MHz processor so there's no chance it would work fast enough on today's pocket PCs. Pacmania has 4 processors working in parallel. Also, I think both Hydra and Pacmania use fairly complex video hardware. Bottomline - you shouldn't expect much fun with these two games on a Pocket PC for now.

This game uses 4 x 68000 / 14 MHz processors. It hardly works fast enough on high-end desktop PCs...

That is only 1 14 mhz processor...the ipaq has 206...can you please try to make hydra work, even if it is slow? I would GREATLY appreciate it!

WOAH! didn't realize that...how about just the classic 1986 sega game Out Run? It may be fast enough on ipaq

Just trust me on this one - don't expect it to work fast enough to be considered even mildly playable. I remember Techmaster enabling one of the simplest MC68K games - Marble Madness - and it was too slow on the iPaq. Same story goes for Out Run as it uses two MC68000 / 12 MHz. Pocket PCs are just not fast enough to achieve the good speed of MC68K emulation using MAME code.

So I guess pacmania would have the same problem...what about the save states issue? if that is possible, can you enable the simpsons (4 player version)? it doesn't use that much processor at all.

Why would you want Hydra to work ? I have the full machine and the game sucks really bad. It was a Star Wars sitdown that was converted in to a Hydra. I will be making it a Star Wars again and will get rid of the boards for the Hydra.

Man, what a crappy game....
