Hi there -
I have the 568 also, I usually don't have this problem unless I have the sound turned on. But maybe it is the games I'm playing.
I also make sure to shut down any other programs so that they don't steal CPU cycles.
Sad to say (for me!), it was one of the main reasons I bought the 568 also, because I read in PC Gamer it was great for games, and when I saw there was a MAME build for it, well, that was it! But I have learned to love the thing anyway.
