Hello!
Was wondering if anyone had suggestions for the fastest combo of emuversion and handheld out there??

Also, I was unable to find pictures of nearly any of these actually working.... Can someone tell me if one of these CE based emulators displays the game w/o the start-bar?

I don't know about other emulators, but mamece3 shows the start bar. I never really though about it, but why does that matter?

I have an HP Jornada 568 and mamece3 (in fact, MEGAmamece3) runs great on it. I got this model partly because I read a review in PC Gamer that said it was the best for gaming, the main reason being that it supported multiple simultaneous key-presses (that is, you can use the d-pad while firing, etc.) I don't think any of the other models do that, except maybe the newest Compaqs. The Jornanda is pricey, though.

The Casio Cassiopeia does and always has supported multiple keypresses/pad use etc. I have an E-115 that works well with mameCE. It also has a better screen than the Ipaq.
I believe the latest Cassiopeia also uses the same CPU as the Ipaq too (206 Mhz strongARM) so performance should be comparable.

I too have a casio e-115 and the processor is MIPS at 150Mhz, I think the casio models have the best screens out there, but the processors aren't as fast as some... The Cassiopeia's button layout is very similar to a gameboy, so this is an advantge in my opinion. It has a directional pad on the left and buttons on the right. Most Ipaq models have a D-pad in the middle and buttons on either side of it, and in my opinion is not the ideal layout. The jornada models (at least all of the ones I have seen) look like they don't even have a directional button or if there is one, it's only up and down, with no left or right. (somebody please correct me if I'm wrong) If money is no object, there's a new model of cassiopeia coming out (e-200 I think) that looks promising. Although the button layout is similar to the ipaq models. I hope this was helpful.
