Please help! I have an iPAQ 3835. I installed MameCE3 and played Frogger until my fingers bled:-) Cool program but I am ready to uninstall MameCE3 altogether. I go to settings/remove programs, select Techmaster MameCE3 and hit remove. Uninstall unsuccessful. The program (PROGRAM FILES\MAMEC\MAMECE3.exe & WINDOWS GX.DLL) was not removed because these filoes are in use or are read-only. Tap Start>Settings>System tab>Memory>Running Programs tab>Stop All and try again. I did this and still no love. I cannot uninstall MAMECE#! I replaced gx.dll using gx-old.dll according to the instructions on the pocket tv website (I hope this does not come back to haunt me!) but I am still unable to uninstall MAMECE3.exe

Perform a soft reset then do the uninstall.
If that fails, just delete the MameCE folder. No ill effects will occur (an entry is left in the registry but this is not a problem).
The gx.dll needs to be there for other software. I think a copy is also in ROm so no bad effects if you delete it fromt he windows folder.
