Yeah, I also tried Defender (red label) on my 3850 and it starts but keeps getting into this configuration mode. I tried everything I could think of and couldn't get it out of there. It should be able to work fine, as when I let it be on its own, the intro screens work just fine.
What I tried is:
- scramble - works great* - frogger - works great* - galaga - a bit on the slow side - ms pacman - won't work, get the blank screen then returns to main menu, even though I have >20Mb of both storage & program RAM left - pacman jr - same as ms pacman
* - sound is choppy, no games I tried have good sound on iPaq, even when overclocking it to 236 MHz.
