I have a problem with Jornada's (568) keys.
Megace 9.3 for Arm recognize pad and action buttons but no the other keys.
I have 20 Mb of free memory.
Please help me!
I have tried with hard reset and I have installed only megace but nothing.
Thanks for reply.

I have the same problem. Wen I run MameCE there is no response form any Key. Only the gamepad seems to run, since I can enter the OK by hiting left-right. But after that, I must reset becouse I canŽt access the menu, or push the credits, the start or the Esc Key.

Please, help. I love Mame in the PC, so iŽd like to do in my PPC. Perhaps it could help to know that my PPC 2002 is the Spanish version.

I think this problem happens on all HP Jornada 56x devices. I got a german one, and only the pad works, none of the others buttons. Hope that soon there will be a new version, which solves this problem.

I have a J568 and it doesn't have any problems(last time I tried it which was a whie ago. The only 3 buttons that work are B2 B3 and B4 and the action button which isn't mapped to anything at this time.
I'm not sure why you are having problems.
have you downloaded the newest release?
I'll recheck the code this weekend and see if anything looks funny.

Yes I have installed latest version for Arm (iPAQ,HP560s) 9.3 of MAMECE and MEGACE.
I hope you resolve my problem because I like Mamece very much.
Thanks Techmaster for your interest.

P.S. It's possible insert a virtual pad in this emulator? (I have my brother that have an iPAQ 3630).

I have Japanese version of J568, and I met the same trouble.
I found that Win API(?) 'SystemParametersInfo' returns
'HP, Jornada 565,, 11232, Japanese, SAA', but there is
written '...11178, USEnglish...' for J568 in function set_device_manufacturer.
After patched it, it works fine in my J568.
Perhaps each country version has each SystemInfo.

Aha! Thank you for that Info. That clears up alot! :)
I will include it in the proper place in the code and it should work correctly in the next release. If anyone can provide me with the code for the other regions I can incorporate that as well.
If your not a programmer I have a little app that you can run for me and it will print on your screen the proper return value.
Email me if your device is using other than USEnglish Version. :)
