hi, i have the ipaq 3850, i installed mamece autoinstall. so far so god, i can start mame without problems.i download a galaga rom for mame, but when i start a Game, the screen is a moment blue, and then it goes back to startmenü.in options sound is on before i will start a game.
what can here be wrong ?? thanks for help !!

Gots the 3850 english though, should be same. It may be a bad rom, does it work running under normal mame on the pc...

My Galaga (namco) works and I just tried my (set 3) it works as well...

Try grabbing one of these two from a site and see if works.

Also be sure that you do a soft reset after you don't get a game to work, I've found that I try a game and it craps out and the I try games, I've gotten to work in the past, and they do the same thing.

You may need to free up some more memory, or you may have a bad ROM.
try some other games like pacman, crazy kong, or tempest. If they play, then the problem is probably not in the program.
