Hey all,

I tried to install MAME CE 9.3 on my Toshiba e570 (Pocket PC 2002, ARM proc) but during installation on my PC, it said something about an incompatible installer or something.

Anybody know anything about this? Shouldn't MAME CE for Pocket PC 2002 running on ARM hardware work on *any* such system (iPaq, Toshiba, HP, etc.)?

Not neccessarily. It may run but the button codes are different for each device.

The exact error would help. Also were did it fail, while trying to uncompress the files, or during file copying to the device.
You may want to redownload it and try again.
Be aware however that I have not coded in button codes for the toshiba, so I may need o have someone email the codes to me. Contact me if you want to do this (I have an app for you to run that will detect them and display them).

Cheers,
