Alternatively, it'd be neat to be able to use the built-in track-point (mouse-like) device for games. I did take a small look at the MAME code for the joystick area, but I couldn't figure it out. If I read more about Windows GUI programming, maybe I can have another go at it, but part of my problem is not understanding the MAME code in that area.
