Which version of the OS are you using? If it's for 2.11, I'd be surprised if you could get MameCE3 to work. Somewhere in the messages, there's a link to Darren's source for the Casio, which compiles OK for 2.11. You will need to make changes for your particular machine, however, to get the keys & stuff to work.

In addition to setting the toolbar to "HPC 2.11" (and not "Pocket PC" if you're using 2.11), make sure that it's set to compile "MIPS" as well.

Actually, I've been wondering if I could get MameCE3 to compile for my machine, if I create a "gx.dll" (GAPI) for it. Normally, as far as I can tell, GAPI is only available on Pocket PC (OS 3.0) machines, but someone on the 'net made one for the Casio that could be recompiled for any machine you want. SO, with GAPI, it'd probably be easier to port MAME, as I think that was one of the big problems I had when I tried MameCE3 (eventually falling back to using Mameboy, since it was basically the same as Darren's code).

OK, maybe that isn't your immediate problem. Um, did you check the compiler settings before you let 'er rip? Go to "Project/Settings" and look at the C++ tab, in the Preprocessor field. It shouldn't have "GAPI" in there (unless you plan to have a gx.dll on your machine that is made for it). I think I had to mess with something, but that was too long ago for me to remember. Sorry. :-) Maybe you can be more specific with your error message? When it stops on "clmips" it should show compiler errors! Probably a bunch of them.

Hello,
Thanks for reply, now I can get the compiled code from MameCE10x running can't seem to get the ce3 version run because CE 2.11 don't have the AYGshell.dll. Now I'm working on the key input part. All key are working except the arrow key and I suspect that there is a hard coded key to casio PPC somewhere but still didn't find it.
