Here are my results so far, running MegaMameCE 9.3 on a Jornada 568, with all roms on CompactFlash :

Working
========================================
Arkaniod (World) - slightly too slow
Bubble Bobble - slightly too slow
Burger Time (Data East set 1) - 100%!
Commando (World) - 100%!
Frogger - 100%!
Green Beret - 100%!
Ms. Pacman - 100%!
Puck-Man - 100%!
Q*Bert - 100%!
Rygar (US set 1) - 100%!
Silkworm (set 1) - 100%!
Star Force - 100%!
Up'n'Down - 100%!
Wonder Boy (set 1) - 100%!

Non-Working
========================================
Blasteriods (version 4) - fatal error after OK screen
Contra (US) - just returns to game menu
Crazy Kong (set 1) - just returns to game menu
Defender (Red label) - runs but won't play
Donkey Kong - just returns to game menu
Flying Shark (World) - fatal error after OK screen
Galaxian (Namco) - just returns to game menu
Gauntlet - fatal error after OK screen
Jr. Pac-Man - just returns to game menu
Marble Madness - just returns to game menu
Pac-Land (set 1) - just returns to game menu
Pac-Mania - fatal error after OK screen
Raiden - fatal error after OK screen
Rastan (World) - fatal error after OK screen
The New Zealand Story - just returns to game menu

I just want to check that I'm not doing something wrong ! It could be that I have the incorrect ROM versions, but I've tried to use 0.36 where possible. Especially puzzling is Ratan Saga, which is definitely the 0.36 version, and someone else on these boards says they have that running on a Casio. Would the type of Pocket PC being used have any effect? I'm using a Jornada 568, with lots of memory spare.

Am I doing anything wrong or do the games that don't work for me simply not work yet? It's a real shame about Raiden and Pacmania since they're real favourites of mine.

Thanks for any comments

DF

Hi Tekhmaster,

Thanks for the reply, and creating a top emulator. I've probably got wrong ROM versions of Crazy Kong and Galaxians though I think they work on desktop MAME 0.35b16.

Where do you see MAMECE going in the future? Will the XScale provide enough power to emulate a lot more games?
