SubjectMameCE3 W.I.P. new Reply to this message

Hi all,
Just thought i'd let you know where I stand at the moment.
I will try to get a minimal release out that fixes the buttons on non English versions, sometime in the next week.

The really good news is I have been working on a new port, using the current .58 MAME source. The bad news is I have a few problems with blitting routines and palette use. I am confident I will solve these problems but can not give you a timeframe for a release on this version. The MAME team reorganized some things so I have to readdress these items. Overall the reoganization was good, and many items became much clearer to me as I work my way thru the new source.
Just thought you'd like to know that I am still hard at work on this project :)

Cheers,
-Techmaster

Cool, thanks for the update. The new Mame core is a plus. Thanks for keeping it going.

1st tanx for the fantastic mamece3. now im giving some feed back of mamece3 in a ipaq 3850 series:
-games with roms larger then 400 kb give error and close aplication.
-roms larger than 1mg, its like the rom not there.

if this problems were fix it was haven :) what can i say... keep the excelent work.
if u want i can test roms in my ipac, fell free to ask.
