I'm trying to get MAMECE3 9.3 to work on my Clio. It's one of those rare tablet-subnotebook convertible systems, running Windows CE 2.11 Pro and using a MIPS 4000 Vr4121 processor.

I've been trying to play the Arkanoid rom ("World" version, arkanoid.zip) and when it loads, the screen is scrambled (split into horizontal lines with little vertical alignment), and after a minute of loading it displays a "BAD HARDWARE" message (I could still read it even though it was scrambled).

It seems like it's getting confused when trying to stretch the screen width to match my Clio's display.

Is there a way I can get this to work? How can I compile using the MAMECE3 source to make a version that will work on the Clio?
