SubjectConfiguring buttons Reply to this message

Is it possible to configure buttons on a game by game basis, rather than via the config menu?

I've noticed that there are config files saved for each game - are there are any text editors available for these?

BTW - I've got an Ipaq, if that makes any difference

Cheers

Yes, I stumbled onto this by accident the other day. Press button 2 to bring up the Input (general) screen. To back up to the main menu press button 1. Cursor down to Input (this game) and press button 2. Press button 2 again and now the game specific configs can be chosen instead of general mame configs. Use this process to access any of the eight main menu options.

Have fun!

I realize that you don't have a Toshiba, but that is exactly what DOESN'T work on them. :( Button 2 will bring up the menu, but then it won't do anything after that. I hope Techmaster? reads this message.
