SubjectPurchase Advice: IPAQ or Casio E-200G? Reply to this message

Hi all,

two simple questions:

1) About a year ago, the Casio E-500 seemed to be the best machine for games and emus.
Is the E-200G as compatible as the E-500 was? Does it run all games and emus that were designed for the E-500?

2) Which IPAQ models have the button problem and which do not? There are so many versions out there - this is getting confusing. Which IPAQ model would be the minimum one that would be good for MameCE and other emus?
Are the IPAQs without the button problem now equal to the Casio? (or even better?)

Regards and thanks for your help,

Robert

Casio is pulling out of the PDA market, at least in the US. Thats enough to cross the E200 off my list.

Also, the older casio models used a different processor, so none of the software that ran on the old casios will run on the new ones, unless an ARM version is available.
