Actually, all I have is the older sets. I'm mostly worried about MAMECE3 starting to use the newer ones, and I'm left with ROM sets I can't use. Considering it's difficult to find them anymore, that's kept me from upgrading my desktop MAME.

I was mostly wondering whether there was some "magic" upgrade event to MAME that changed the ROM set requirements in some significant way that rendered all the old sets inoperative.

I just received my Axim today, so I'm hoping I can use it with MAMECE3. I'll read over other posts and see what I can find on that one.
