When I pick a game and press Play, I just get a dark blue screen and after 30 sceond It goes back to the main screen.

When I install MAMECE3 in my PDA, it prompts me if I want to replace the file "windows\gx.dll from 6/7/01" with the 13/7/02 one; after clicking "yes" I then prompts me the file is a hidden, read-only or system file if I really want to proceed and I click yes.

I have re-installed it clicking "no" but still not work. The questions will be asked every time I re-install it (even if I said "yes" in the previous intallation)".

The software is very promising, please help.

I have the same problem on my Jornada 568. I am also very keen on getting this to work. I read somewhere that the temporary blue/black screen is due to lack of free system memory (about 7/8MB is needed), but I have at least 20MB free. PLease help us if anyone can! This is a desperate plea!

IOK, I think I have cracked it. THe Roms I had was too new. You need to use the older roms .36
They will then display in your list and will be playable!!

I have the 3835 and only 1 game works so far (congo bongo) with no sound. None of the others will boot up at all. I really want Donkey Kong, and DK Jr.

Any ideas. I have MameCE3.

Any help would be great.

The roms that I have are old ones that were on my computer from before. All rom download sites are shut down. Any ideas where to download roms?

you can download roms from xxx.mame.dk (replace x with w ;-)
when you register first !
