I may be new to this MameCE thing, so...

I've downloaded and installed the mega mameCE installer and the program does boot on my iPAQ 3955, Only at first there are no games listed. I selected "list all games" in the options menu and get a very long list of games in the seleCtion menu. They don't work. When I select them and click PLAY, the screen goes black for 50 secs and then comes back to the menu screen.

I've intsalled one rom (1942 set1). I assume that a rom is the zip file with a load of inididual files in it. The file is in a random directory, still zipped, and Mame still doesn't recognize it by listing it in the game list for me to select it.

How do i play a damn game on this thing?

Where do i put the "rom"?

ok, ive now gotten 1942 set1 to come to the copywrite screen. you know where it says all this junk and asks you to type in ok. How do i type n ok if the game takes up the whole screen? Do those people that do have MameCE working have to do this?

For the PocketPc version to type 'OK' press Left then Right.

As for the ROM's they can easily be found on the web. When you selected 'all available roms' these obviously are not installed with the main program !

I use this as a guide of what games can be used with the emulator and download the ones on that list.
