Hi ;) - Am I missing something?

I have a various ROMs of Sonic the Hedgehog. I've put them in the ROMs folder (In uncompressed and zip format) below the main folder yet they still don't appear in the list.

Does Mame only work for certain games?

Yes many games are compiled but not all work or work correctly. Keep them zipped. try frogger, pacman, and crazy kong to start.

Sorry, I'm not making myself clear. I don't even get to attempt to play sonic the hedgehog. I can't get it to appear in the list so that I'm able to select it and press play.

That means that the Driver Code wasn't even compiled for that game.
Either there was a problem during the compile or it just wasn't added do to space considerations.
