I have an Ipaq 1945 and I followed your download instructions to the letter. The mame ce3 program appears to run but no matter where I put the zipped roms, it does not recognize them. Where are all these accolades for your program coming from? Is this a joke?

Creating a stupid post like that wont get you any help will it ?

Of course the program works, very well. If you have any problems most normal people ask politely and the problem will be fixed

Sounds to me like its not a problem with the software but the user

Actually, I'm having the same problem that What1 mentioned. I have an h1940, and I assume that I may have gotten my hands on some non-working ROMs. I only have 6 or so, but I thought it was a little odd that none of them seem to function. Of course, as you say, it could be operator error.

The zipped files are in the ROMs directory. They just don't appear in the "Games" menu.

If anyone has any insight they could offer here, I'd be indebted.

Hi,
The problem you may be having is that the ROM may be a newer one.
Currently MameCE3 is based on MAME .36. As MAME Progresses the ROMS change on occasion, thereby making them not compatible with older versions of MAME and MameCE3.

If I get some time in the neer future I hope to get a new release based on more current code. Its been a bad year for me and not much time to devote to development.
If you ask around specifically in chat rooms or newsgroups you can always find someone with older Romsets.

Hope that helps.

Happy Holidays.
