Actually, I'm having the same problem that What1 mentioned. I have an h1940, and I assume that I may have gotten my hands on some non-working ROMs. I only have 6 or so, but I thought it was a little odd that none of them seem to function. Of course, as you say, it could be operator error.

The zipped files are in the ROMs directory. They just don't appear in the "Games" menu.

If anyone has any insight they could offer here, I'd be indebted.
