I'm slightly confused I see a mamece and a megamamece but I don't understand the differences, so I install both to make sure I got everything. I install all roms into the roms folder, and on mega mamecd I go show all games and they appear, but not one single game runs..JUST BLACK SCREEN

if I install megamamece do i need to install the mamece?
i think i read that mamece only works with roms version of .36 is this correct?
if so how do I tell what version my rom is? I have palced the roms and they are in .rom format but also tried in .zip which MADE no difference.

if I geneuinely need version .36 roms where can I specifically find these? I have lots of roms but i think they are mainly .78 and everywhere I've looked I've not seen .36 at all.

I really appreciate if you can answer my questions as I been using mame on PC for years but I'm just now starting to try it on my pocket pc but after hours fo trying with so little docs out there nothing has worked for me.

Should I be placing the bios for the roms also into the roms folder?

From what i believe firstly mamece runs a fair few .36 mame games. Megamamece runs many many more .36 mame roms.

Firstly if you go to one of the drop down menus (dont have my PPC to hand) you should be able to select 'view all available games' or something like that. It'll then display 100's of names on your PPC. These are games which will work with Mame thats all, its just a list not a list of games installed on your PPC instantly.

The games should be in the ROMs directory kept in their zip format.

Email me (psj3809@hotmail.com) and i can email u a few roms to test to make sure Megamamece is working 100%. The black screen you have i presume is for the wrong version of roms as it should come up with 'press OK' etc
