Subjectv.36 ROMs reffer to proper ROM format or what? Reply to this message

Hi,

Been trying quite a lot and cannot find any .36 rom so I tryed with a .82 1943.zip and... It worked!!

Which makes me think this .36 thing could reffer to the subset of all MAME roms that MAME supported back at v 0.36 instead of a proper rom format..

I'm I right? If so this should be made clear to newbies as me from the start, maybe in a faq.

Thanks for any insight.
Deibit

All i do is click on the option on MegamameCE to 'show all clones' (shows all games which can work) and then find the romset for those by the name and put it on the PPC. Reload up MegamameCE and if it appears on the list of games installed on my PPC then i run it and see if it works. Slow way of doing it but it works

Need MegamameCE help ? Email me
