Apparently Mame and MegamameCE runs only version 0.36 but a few people have got some later roms to play

I only use MegaMameCE so i'm unsure how MameCE works. On MegamameCE theres an option to 'show all clones' which basically brings up a list of games which 'can' play with MegamameCE. Maybe theres a list for MameCE on one of the options.

From the names listed i then search the net for the roms and then download them, put them in the Roms directory then reload MegamameCE and the name should appear and then of course i test it by running it.

Some games which work on MegamameCE are Green Beret, 1942, Bombjack, Commando.

If you can find MegamameCE (the main link is down but i think the cab file installation is still working) then i would suggest totally you getting this as it can run about 1000 games compared to MameCE and 200 or so.

Try one of the games i mentioned first as they work 100%
