It seems as if there is really no information on this program at all on it's site, so I must ask here... what are the games emulated on MAMECE?

Do I need any special romsets, or can I use the mame ones?

And finally, would it even work on a TG50 Clie with Palm OS 5 on it?

It emulates the Mame romset .36. It does seem to run a fair few others though.

MegamameCE obviously runs many many more than MameCE. I only use MegamameCE. Basically in that program you can select Options / Show all available clones and then it'll list all the games which potentially work with it (theres many).

Then you would find the game , put it in your roms directory and then it 'should' work ok. Some games even though listed seem to crash but the vast majority seem to work very well. The sound is a bit muffled but not bad but the gameplay etc on a good fast PPC is 100%. I've managed to get about 80-100 games listed and working on my PPC

Many of the roms at http://www.webcore.freeserve.co.uk/junction/mame.htm work , eg Commando and Bombjack.

And no i doubt it'll work on your PPC as you have a Palm and not a Pocket PC with Pocket 2002 or 2003 on it you see.

If you want to play a ton of emulators ( http://www.pdarcade.com/modules.php?name=Sections&op=viewarticle&artid=102 )then get a Pocket PC, if you want lots of card games keep with a Palm ! ;-)
