hi..

i've recently acquired a cassiopeia e 200 and have spent the last week trying to get it all working...

i finally found a download of the autoinstaller, got gyruss to work [with funny colours] and crashed with tempest and arkanoid.

i have enough memory and think i'm doing everything correctly [but prob not].

my question is:
are the problems i'm having probably got to do with my particular model [ie i should just stop now and wait for newer builds [or another pda]] or has anyone seen it working on the e200? [and i should just try harder ;)]

because it is taking up a lot of my time. [work goddamit!]

thanks to everyone involved for at least making the possibility of it happening, kudos to tekhmaster et al, but i would really really like to play my roms while i travel.

btw: i posted this at the end of a thread found thru search but it didn't show up at the top of the list so i posted as a new thread...have i done the correct thing here?

Not sure what speed your PPC is. I had a 400 mhz PPC before (Ipaq 3970) but it didnt have the latest processor , it had a PXA250. I bought an Asus MyPal 620 (PXA255 processor) and it ran like a dream, full speed and sound.

Sounds like your PPC is just too slow. Try Bombjack in one of the zip files at http://www.webcore.freeserve.co.uk/junction/mame.htm

If that runs slow as anything then you've basically got an old PPC and thats like getting Doom 3 to run on a 1 ghz PC

It should run on the E200. I actually debug on the E115 -grin- It is a little slow on the Casio devices so don't expect too many games to run acceptably.
