MameCE is a very nice piece of software, but it could be better if it let you to rotate the graphic window in landscape mode. As it is now it permit you to play well only games that originally was in portrait mode, like 1942. But they are only a little part of game avalable in mame.
I tried also software like Nyditot virtual display or Dotpocket, but they don't work with mameCE.
So my question to Techmaster is: isn't possible to add a landscape option to MameCE?

I downloaded the source code, but it is very big, so it take a lot of time to me to understand it and make any modification (if I ever will be able to do it).
I'm very surprised that no one have made such modify to the code until now. Internet is full of people that works on free code, why no one works on this one except Techmaster?

The current version of MegaMameCE does have options in the Options menu to rotate the screen left or right. I think there's something hardware specific about this functionality, though, as it does not work on my Dell Axim. Rotate left actually inverts the screen, and rotate right does nothing at all. Have you tried these options on your PDA?
