I am still having serious bother getting Mameboy to work on my E115. I have deleted lots of files from my machine - giving me 12.9 meg of program memory - and the bugger still FAE's on me! (Exception 0xc0000005 Address 0001d144 for what it's worth!) All files are in place - zipped roms in folder called 'roms' copied into same directory - machine switched on - hair falling out -

Please help!!!..

As far as I know, you should free about 15 Megs of application memory.

Thanks for the reply - I think I will need to give it up as a bad job - I can't remove any more stuff from my machine, until I get a flash card.

Any idea why so much memory is required to run this? Most emulators I have used, on this and other machines, use very little memory since the machines being emulated did not have much! I understand that the complexity of emulating multiple processors and systems would create complex code (my programming knowledge runs, just about, to Z80 assembler and no further!) but 15 megs of memory?

Cheers.

I couldn't get any zipped roms to work in my machine. try to unzip them and then place them in the roms folder and give that a shot.

Good Luck,

Vic
