Is anybody working on this?
-it should be easy to modify the ipaq version...

Just because they share the same CPU doesn't mean it is an easy modification. The Jornada720 is not a PocketPC, it is a handheld PC and unless it uses GAPI, it will require a different graphics routine than what is used for the iPAQ and other PocketPC devices. It doesn't mean it cannot be done but I don't think it would be an easy port. But for Techmaster it just might be! : )

Easy, hard to say. Probably could blend my old Casio PsPC vesion with the current MameCE3 version (swapping gapi with gamex) and compile for the PocketPC arm processor. Don't kow if it will work tho. Can anyone confirm a PocketPC Arm compile working on a J720?

Cheers,
-Techmaster

I think it can be easy to check if you compare related libraries or headers i.e. under the related folders on free Ms dev. tools for handheld and personal pc.

It will be a pleasure to test beta versions ;-)) (emulators included in mentioned above)

bregs,
P.
p.s.
I saw an ipaq doom clone running on j720
(however wrong collor pallette and resolution used , and spec. library needed )
