I posted a question in the thread below, but was left unanswered. With the new realease (8.1), what directory in the Compact Flash do I have to put the roms inable for the program to locate. For more details please check in the thread below named "Problem with the Large build MameCE3".

try this:
storage card/program/mamece/roms

As long as the executable is in main memory as
/program/mamece/mamece3.exe

the paths have to match. If it was in the root directory as Mamece/mamece3.exe, the storage card path would be:
storage card/mamece/roms

That was 'programs/' and not 'program files/'?

Sound right Techmaster?

Thats about right. Same structure on the storage card as it is for the main memory (just preceding it with storage card/).
