SubjectMarco, Techmaster, Darren - Should we create a FAQ file? new Reply to this message

For the last several months I notice the same or similar questions being asked on this board that you guys, Marconelly in particular, kindly answer over and over and over it seems. I think (More like I hope) a FAQ file could help alleviate some of the redundancy on this board. I have never put a FAQ file together but I wouldn't mind doing what I can to contribute as much as possible to this FAQ. This way we can include it in the future builds, link it to MameCE3, Mameboy, and Darren's home page, and reference it on the message board if needed.

Maybe we can modify the desktop Mame's FAQ file for WindowsCE so all of the caveats, disclaimers, and copyright warnings stay intact? What do you guys think? A good or bad idea?

Dario

I think an FAQ for MAMECE (covering all of it's incarnations :) would be a Good Thing.

It would also be useful if the FAQ, or at least a webpage, were somehoe linked to or referenced from the message board name/info (like the CB64 board has). I think sometimes people wonder onto this board from Retrogamers and have no idea what webpage(s) to go to...

Sounds like a plan. If you are volunteering :)
Just send it to Marconelly or myself and we can store it and link to it if needed.
