when we feel there is minimal risk of including them. SNK still list them as 'current games' so it doesn't seem like a good idea at this point.
the company who made metal slug 4 are clearly aware of Mame as their PC 'ports' of neogeo games are actually a hacked copy of Mame with disc protection added, the amusing part is they left NVRam files from other games such as sailor moon on some of their cds too.
If they'd actually asked and credited Mame (assuming they have a proper SNK license) I doubt we wouldn't really have minded them using it too much (or at least I wouldn't), not sure why they felt they had to hack it up but then again it is a korean company, and the majority of korean arcade games are unlicensed hacks.
We're not going to take action against game companies, however since they are clearly aware of Mame adding it when its still listed as current doesn't seem wise.
I believe 4 5 were released as a pack on the xbox (not a very good example of the series, 3 x would have been better) but anyway, maybe you can pick those up, I imagine they'll be perfect ports with some extras.
