Or you could look at it as them doing us a favor by not allowing such a crappy game. Seriously though, I doubt it has anything to do with Sony, and more to do with Playmore.

Still odd that they released the game in the USA on Xbox but not PS2.

Oh well, not missing much either way....

In US they have to sell it at budget price, the game being 2D. Same case for metal slug 3/4, Sony didn't want to publish them as standalone.

Its on Xbox because Sony of America have a more strict policy with 2D games and only allow them to be sold for the PS2 if its some kind of collection.

Look at the latest Sega Classics Collection released. Its basically Sega's 3D Ages Series Vol. 1 - 15 or something like that on a DVD whereas in Japan each volume was sold seperate on CD.

It's not that, exactly. It's more like they only allow BAD 2d games - like SVC - to be sold in value packs. To prove my point, Guilty Gear XX was released here.

I hate bloody Sony doing stupid things like that
I mean theres loads of crap games out there that are 3d yet 2d games have to be penalised
